Moments {3.6.15}

Each week, I try to take a picture to remember each day by.
Maybe sometime in the future, we will make a book out of them all to remember the years by.

Here is what our week has looked like.

Saturday, February 28, 2015 --
On Saturday, I still wasn't feeling well so we just hung out around the  house.
Our kids love to make up plays and perform them for us.
This was at the end of another successful performance.

58/365.....
dance party.

I am the worst to get caught up in reading a book.
DO you do that?
I should have been sleeping, instead -- I was up too late reading.

Sunday, March 1, 2015 --
Church and then off with the youth to work with at a local Soup Kitchen.
SO proud of all the work they did!

59/365...
great group of youth

Monday, March 2, 2015 --
On Monday, we were back to our 'normal' routine.
Work, school, piano lessons, tumbling.....
It was warm enough outside to practice catching.

60/365.... one more year of tee-ball for this boy starts soon.

A friend of mine was telling me about George Straight's last concert on CMT.
He made me want to watch.
SO, I watching on Youtube.
And as usual, the king didn't disappoint.
My favorite parts were when he sang The Chair and his duet with Martina McBride when they sang Jackson. So good!

Tuesday, March 3, 2015 --
On Sunday morning, between services we learned that my husbands 98 year old grandmother had passed away.
After school on Tuesday, we headed up to Greensboro for the Visitation.
These were some of the the little people there...

After the visitation, we went back to Granddad and Nana LeeAnne's house to get a good nights rest.

61/365....
ready for bed.

Wednesday, March 4, 2015 --
We got up and had a quiet morning before getting ready to head over to the funeral.
We got this shot of my family before we left.
I can't help but wonder how time passes so quickly.

Ken didn't officiate the service but he did give the eulogy.
He did an incredible job speaking about his grandmother.
Our sweet church folks sent flowers and hubs was given his grandmother's well worn Bible.

62/365.....

Thursday, March 5, 2015 --
Back to work and school for everyone on Thursday.
We had a busy evening so we made a quick trip to get something to eat.
This kid.
Cat naps aren't for him.
He was GRUMPY by the time we ordered our food.

Thankfully, by bedtime he was all smiles.
He loves doing his devotion each night.
I love doing it with him and hearing his thoughts.

63/365....sweet time.

Friday, March 6, 2015 --
On Friday, Maggie and I were supposed to go on a field-trip.
But, since it was an outside field-trip and the weather was COLD, mercifully, it was cancelled.
Hubs and I spent the day together running some errands and spending much needed quality time together.
It was a great day.

I erased my "Let it snow" chalkboard because let's face it.
I am a southern girl and I have had enough of the white stuff for this year!
Bring on Spring.

64/365....Lenten Chalkboard

Last night I worked in our churches' Youth Center as I do once a month.
It was extra fun last night because I had these two great chicks helping out.
Love them!

It has been a bitter sweet week for sure.
We are sad that Mama Bea is no longer with us.
We all loved her so.
But, we rest and praise God that she is with him now and is no longer in daily pain.
