Moments {3.14.15}

After three weeks of unexpected down time, this week was back to the busy norm.
If not busier.  Whew.

These are the moments that I managed  to capture this week.

Saturday, March 7, 2015 --
Maggie still had her friend Chloe over on Saturday morning.
They had a great time playing and making their project for school.
This is a picture of them demonstrating their fishing project.
Made from a tupperware container full of water colored blue.
They attached magnets to plastic fish and made a fishing pole with another magnet attached.
A lego girl holds the fishing pole while standing on the dock they made out of popsicles sticks.

65/365.....clever girls.

I had to run to Target to do some shopping and get a birthday present.
While there, I found this awesome lantern in the newly brought out garden section for spring.
I loved it and knew it needed to come home and decorate my porch.

Sunday, March 8, 2015 --
Sunday brought daylight savings time.
I just wanted more sleep on Sunday morning.
At least the view was gorgeous when  I got up.....

We are in the midst of our March Mission Madness with our youth.  We were working at our own church doing work outside and I knew it would be a hard sell.
As did the other leaders, because one of them brought his camping stove and supplies to make s'mores for those who came.

66/365..... great surprise!

 Monday, March 9, 2015 --
Once I got everyone off to school on Monday, I began to look at my calendar for the week.
loads of appointments and things to do.

I worked and then got groceries as is my usual routine on Mondays.
Picked up kids on my way back.

I had book club that evening.
We were discussing "The Greatest Generation" by Tom Browkaw.
We always have the best discussions and such a great time together.
Time well spent and a great way to begin the week for me!

67/365.....I came home with three more books to read.

Tuesday, March 10, 2015 --
Tuesday morning, I worked for a while and then went to get Allie from school.
She had an appointment to get her pump (finally) and see her Endocrinologist.
She was very excited.
In a couple of weeks we go back to get her Continual Glucose Monitor.
Which will make this Mama rest easier.
We got home just in time to eat supper which I had put in the crockpot  before leaving home that morning.
Then it was time to rush off for evening activities.
Ken had a meeting and Allie had her small group.
Brady had a soccer game, so the rest of us headed off for that.
You can't tell in this picture, but Brady played indoor soccer on a team that let him "play up".
Meaning that everyone else on his team, and the opposing them, is older that him.
Sometimes by as much as 4-5 years.
I am so proud of how he gets in there and plays with no regard at all for the opposing players size.

68/365.....brave boy

Wednesday, March 11, 2015 --

On Wednesday, I worked all day trying to get some things done!
Then, our friend Courtney came for a visit!
We went out to supper together and then came back to the house for a quick game of charades before we had to head to church and she had to head home.

69/365......We love Courtney!

 Thursday, March 12, 2015 --
On Thursday, I worked for a couple of hours and then had to get Allie out of school again for an orthodontist appointment.
After the appointment I ran her back to school and worked for a while more before heading back to pick up everyone from school.
In my timehop feed on Thursday, I found this.
How have 6 years gone by so fast?
Look at my tiny people....

On Thursday afternoon, I helped Brady make a rainbow to go on his Leprechaun Trap that he was going to make on Friday at school.
He was very excited about this project.  Telling me all about how he hoped to catch a Leprechaun and that he planned to write the Leprechaun a note telling him "Do NOT Knock down the Stick" because Leprechaun's are known to do exactly the opposite of what they are told to do.

70/365...... planning his trap!

Friday, March 13, 2015 --
On Friday,  Ken and I went up to Greensboro to walk through his grandmother's home.
One of the things I brought back with me was this stole.
I found that it has her initials monogrammed on the inside of it.
I will treasure it.

Once we were home and had picked up the kids, we headed out to grab some supper before going to see our friends in a local production of Robin Hood.
We had three friends in this production. And all three were wonderful!!!

Our friend Madi was a Merry Woman.
Elli was a Rat Seller in the town.
And Parker was

71/365..... the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Another busy, crazy week has come to an end.
Can't wait to see what moments I capture this week!
