Moments {2.6.15}

Every week, I work at getting a couple of pictures for each day that tell a bit of the story of what we have been up to.
This week, I missed one.
But, here is most of what we have been up to!

Saturday, January 31, 2015 --
On Saturday,  some of us had the opportunity to help a family in our church get some things done in order that they can get their home put on the market.
I am so proud of the hard work put in by everyone who worked with us.
And, the weather was perfect to be doing outside work.

Our friend, Jenny, was here visiting so she went with us to do this work.
She didn't even know this family. She was just willing to help.
That is what I call a true servant heart.
She was willing and happy to help do work that wasn't hers to do.
Thank you Jenny! We love you.

31/365....She is an incredible role model for my children.

Sunday, February 1, 2015 --
The kids and I attended the early service at church and then came home.
It was a big hair day for me....

We spent the day resting and went out for a late lunch before watching the Super Bowl.
Lillie drew these and left them on Ken and my pillows that evening before she went to bed.

32/365......she is quite the artist.

Monday, February 2, 2015 --
I got these adorable ceramic measuring spoons recently and finally used them on Monday evening.
I really do love them.

ALSO. For Christmas I received a gift card to Williams and Sonoma. You all probably know that I love most anything that is reminiscent of the 1920's.
I used my card to order these old-fashioned champagne glasses.
I don't even drink champagne, but I love them.
33/365....so pretty.

These two girls had check ups with their pediatrician which required giving blood.
So, a treat was in order afterward!!

One of the UMW circles at church brought Ken and I a bouquet for Valentine's day.
They do this each year for the church staff.
Such a sweet thing to do.
34/365....thankful for their care.

Wednesday, February 4, 2015 --
I arrived  at my office to find this on my desk.
Left  by my sweet Allie.
Great way to start my day.

Wednesday was a long day.  Maggie and Allie came home with lots of homework that they were unable to finish before we left for church.
Lillie made Maggie's lunch for her so that she would be able to not eat school lunch on Thursday.
I truly love when they serve and love one another.

35/365.... learning to serve.

Thursday, February 5, 2015 --
On Thursday afternoon, in between the my morning bible study, then work and going back to evening bible study, I was going to run some errands.
I decided to stay home and read instead.
It was lovely.

SO lovely was that time and so busy was the day that I didn't get a picture with my DSLR camera on this day.
I completely forgot.
argh.....so, no 36/365 pic....

Friday, February 6, 2015 --
These  two had their own check ups with the pediatrician on Friday morning.
Brady was the lucky one who didn't have to give blood or get shots.
Lillie had to get both.
So, they also got a treat.
We got Zaxby's for lunch before heading back to school.

Allie left on a Middle School Retreat on Friday afternoon so the other two girls both had a friend sleep over.

36/365.....friends ....

That is what our week has looked like.
Another busy, busy week.
And another one to come.
What have you been up to this week?
