Moments { 1.16.15 and 1.23.15}


Another two weeks have come and gone.
The weeks have been back to our "normal" business.
Just didn't have time last weekend to post my photos as I was out of town all weekend.
SO, short on words and long on pictures.....
Here is what we have been up to for the last two weeks.

Saturday, January 10, 2015 --
A lazy morning of building and crafting....

We then took Lillie and her friend Elli out to for Lillie's birthday supper. 
Steak and Shake was her choice.

Sunday, January 11, 2015 --
We had a great time at youth doing team building activities.
11/365.....busy bees building out of spaghetti, marshmallows, tape and string.


Monday, January 12, 2015 --
Happy Birthday to Lillie!

rainy and cold weather....

I almost ate the whole bag.

 Thursday, January 15, 2015 --
Our 5th/6th grade group was set to have a New Year, New You Party.
I finished some decorations for them.
I love party planning....


On Thursdays, Brady has to write three  to four sentences for homework on whatever topic he wants.

"I like to wrestle with my sisters and my dad.  My sisters cry. And we try to push my dad off the couch."...... 


Friday, January 16, 2015 --
I headed out with some of our senior high youth to Resurrection 2015.
A retreat for youth in Gatlinburg, TN.

Reggie Dabbs was the speaker.

And not just because he rocked on that soprano sax!

Saturday, January 17, 2015 --  A morning session and then free time in Gatlinburg.
Had a grand time with these kids!

Sunday, January 18, 2015 --

You should!
It is the one  of the only shows I wait for each week.

Monday, January 19, 2015 --
No school for MLK Day, so Brady got to go with a friend to "Dino Expo".
He came home and fell asleep on the couch.
I think that is a sign of a great day.
I had book club that evening.
Our book club is only a couple of months old but I really love it.

19/365....The discussion was great ladies! 

Tuesday, January 20, 2015 --
This girl had an orthodontist appointment and then we had to grab some groceries.
We took the opportunity to have a treat.
She is learning about the finer things in life.


20/365.....Roses on my mantel. SO pretty.

Wednesday, January 21, 2015 --
My children's choir kids.
Love their excitement!

21/365...... Homework and chores......every.day.......

Thursday, January 22, 2015 --
Thursdays are bible study days.
LOVE studying with the ladies!
