Moments {9.26.14} A Couple Days Late

Very late getting this up.
It'll be short on words but with all the moments of our week.

Saturday, September 20, 2014 --
I got Allie and the rest of our youth sent off early Saturday morning to go to Carowinds, a local amusement park.
Then headed off to the first of two soccer games.
The first one for Brady that I had gotten to attend.

260/365....Presenting the Tigers....

Next up was Lillie's game and then back home for a bit before running some errands.
This boy loves his cat.

Sunday, September 21, 2014 --
Another day of the Flamingo Flu sales and Homecoming with lunch after church.

Sunday evening brought an excursion with the youth where we found this two hundred year old turtle being led down the road.

261/365....odd to see a turtle like this on the streets of NC.

Monday, September 22, 2014 --
Mondays are always a marathon and this one was no different.
Work, pick up kids ,homework and then piano lessons, gymnastics and soccer for some.
I loved this reminder that God gave me of who HE is on the busiest of evenings.

262/365.....HE is GOD!

These two and I got home before the other three returned from soccer.
They ate their supper and watched a bit of The Walton's. I love that they love this show as much as I did growing up and still do.

Tuesday, September 23, 2014 --
It was a chilly rainy day.
263/365....Crockpot jambalaya was the best ever supper!!

Another busy day with a late evening run to the grocery store.
God showed me another amazing sunset after the rain was gone.

Wednesday, September 24, 2014 --
Another busy day of work and school and then children's choir that evening.
Love these kiddos!

 264/365.....silly boy at bedtime.

Thursday, September 25, 2014 --
I got to go on a field trip with Lillie to Cherokee.
We visited the Okonaluftee Village.
We had a great time and it was very interesting learning about the tribal traditions.

265/365.....Cherokee Dances

After the field trip was over, Lillie and I introduced our friends, Tina and Elli, to one of our favorite Asheville Restaurants -- Papas and Beer.
It did not disappoint!

Friday, September 26, 2014 --
There was no school on Friday for a teacher work day.
I ran a quick errand in the morning and then had a meeting with one of my kids teachers.
That afternoon, Maggie had a birthday party to attend and the rest of us headed to Ikea.

On the way out the door, he showed me that he can tie his shoes.
YEAY!

We had a great time at Ikea and stopped for Chick fil A on the way home.
The closest one to us has been torn down.
It is being rebuilt but I am missing it.

266/365..... fun at Ikea

Another great week has come to an end.
