Moments {6.20.14}

Another week has flown by.  

I had plans to blog about other goings on this week, I really did.

It just didn't happen.

Maybe next week.....though, I'm not promising.

It is VBS week around here.

At least I can still share  a few of the "moments" from our last week.

On Saturday, hubs and I were invited to a second high school graduation.

We spent the morning at home and then headed out to graduation. 

We then went to a graduation party for one of those awesome grads!

163/365.....Graduate -- Class of 2014

 Sunday, June 15, 2014 -- Since it was Father's Day, hubs got to choose the activity for the afternoon once we got home from church.

After a quick lunch, we headed to a local zoo.

164/365..... interesting place.

It wasn't a very big zoo, so it didn't take long to go through it.

We saw some interesting animals and Maggie even got to pet a tiger cub.

Monday, June 16, 2014 --

The first day of summer break for the kiddos. 

It was nice not be HAVE to get up at 6AM.

We were all still up quite early, hubs and I had lots of work to do.

Maggie went to a friends house for the afternoon.

They always make up dances and insist I see all of them when I come to pick her up.

They did a great job.

Tuesday, June 17, 2014..... We were headed out of town on Tuesday afternoon to hubs Annual Conference.

As I was beginning to pack up that morning, I walked by to see this.....

guitar lessons early in the morning. 

We arrived at Lake Junaluska in time to go to one of our favorite places to eat. 

Then we took a hike around the lake.  It was a great evening.

Wednesday, June 18, 2014 --- Hubs headed off to his conference meetings.

It was a story day, so the rest of us headed out to do some bowling.

A lot of fun with these kiddos. (Allie was with a friend all afternoon)

Thursday, June 19, 2014 -- On Thursday some wonderful friends from Drexel came up to hang out with us for the day.

The kids had a fantastic day swimming and hanging out.

Friday, June 20, 2014 --- On Friday, we hung out at the cabin for the morning.

At one point everyone in the room with me was on some kind of electronic device.  

It was time to do something active.

Both Maggie and Allie got to visit with friends from Sylva for the afternoon. Brady, Lillie and I did some shopping and then we headed back to pick up Dad after his meetings to go get supper.

We picked up Maggie, Allie and her friend Erin and headed back to Junaluska.

It was a great week at Annual Conference.

We are now home again and back to getting ready for this fast approaching VBS week.

It's gonna be great learning WHOOO we serve with the children of our community this week.
