Moments {3.14.14}

Another week has come and gone.

Way too quickly.

Some of the pics are out of order because of my OCD'ness'.

I need the Instagram shots to be first and the camera shots to follow.  

Though, it is kind of making me tick that they aren't in chronological order.

Also, this is the first week where I missed getting an Instashot and a camera shot.  

I'm devastated about that.

Anyway.

Here is what we have been up to in the last week.

Saturday- March 8, 2014 --

On Saturday, the girls and I drove up to see our favorite dance studio compete in a competition.

The owner of the studio is my friend, Val!  

She owned the studio my girls danced with when we lived in Sylva.

It was a great day for all of us.  

The girls got to see lots of friends, as did I.

Sunday, March 9, 2014 --

Here it is.

The day I didn't get an Instagram pic.

In all the craziness of this day, I just forgot.

The day started with arriving at church at 8AM to set up for a little later.

Then, we attended the 8:30AM service.

Then back to finish setting up for our children's worship.

Then children's church, and afterwards - two back to back meetings......

After that, we were honored to attend the Blue and Gold Banquet for the churches Boy Scout troop.

Monday, March 10, 2014 --

Back to work to get this work started.

A lot of mailings to get out this day.

One was a reminder that The Bridge meets this Sunday.

The Bridge is a group specifically for 5th and 6th graders.

 that meets on a monthly basis......

69/365......my favorite snack.  Though, I am a popcorn snob.

It has to be popped on the stove in a pot.

Microwave popcorn will. not. do!

Tuesday, March 11, 2014 -- 

The weather was glorious.

With day light savings time back, we had extra daylight and warmth to play outside.

Our neighbor, Joseph came up to play for a while.

70/365.....A warm day = sheets dried on the line.

Wednesday, March 12, 2014 --

And then then weather changed on Wednesday.

A cold front came in bringing rain and a lot of wind.

When the rain stopped the wind got worse.

Bad enough to knock out the power.

Which forced us to cancel choir practice at church......no one could see their music.

Loved the coziness of my den with all the candles lit, though!

71/365.....This was supposed to be a shot of the hailstorm.

But it turns out that the tiny pellets of hail wouldn't show up and didn't last long enough for me to get a good shot of it.

Still like the picture though.  The trees, the sky, the brick wall. All of it.

Thursday, March 13, 2014--

I worked a little on Thursday, then came home to clean house.

Heard "Mom, can you help me" from his room, after a crash.

He had accidentally knocked over his toy shelves in his closet which was already a mess.

He was not happy at all when I told him he would have to clean it up.

72/365.....put out some Easter decorations......I don't have any Lenten decorations.

Hmmmmm.

Friday, March 14, 2014 --

In between cleaning rooms yesterday, I made some homemade French Bread.

Which I used this morning to make homemade (Literally from scratch) French Toast.

It was so good.

73/365.....Grammy and Granddaddy have arrived.

Tonight was dinner out with them and then a movie and popcorn all around.
