Thursday Thoughts and Prayer Requests

Today I got my done.  I love getting my hair done.  I got it cut and colored.  Not too much of a change.  More bangs, more layers, some blond , and a wee trim off the ends.  I have worked for about two years now to grow my hair out.  I debate cutting it but I'm just not ready yet.

I'm also packing to go on a field trip with Allie overnight tonight. We are headed to Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg, TN to sleep with the sharks. Yep.  I said to sleep with the sharks.  Allie is thrilled about the whole thing.  While I am NOT thrilled at sleeping in a tunnel surrounded my more water than I care to think about full of more sharks that I dare to think about, I am so happy this Allie wanted me to go with her on this trip.  We are in for a long night.  Bedtime for these fourth graders isn't until 12:30AM tonight and then we are up and back at it again by 7 in the morning.  I'm tired just thinking about it.......

After the field trip tomorrow, we are coming home and loading the car to head to Georgia.  Spring Break starts tomorrow for us and we are going to visit the grandparents as well as helping with a Reception for my youngest step-sister who got married in February.

SO, I wanted to get on here real quick to tell ya'll what I'm up to and to ask for some specific prayer.

1) Ya'll know how my anxiety is.  Sleeping with sharks is really freaking me out.  SO, just pray that when I lay down in the sleeping bag on top of that camping pad tonight that I can actually go to sleep.  This late 30 something year old girl doesn't sleep well on floors. OH. and probably not so good with sharks staring at me, either.  See?  Ya'll pray!


2) Since I suspect that I won't get a lot of sleep tonight, I'm asking ya'll to pray for safety and clear headedness to drive the 3 hours to Georgia tomorrow afternoon.  AND that I get all these bags packed that I need to get packed in the next 2 hours!!!! No, no I haven't really started. ugh....  I will have a bit of time to finish tomorrow....but pray for quick hands and quick work.
