Moments { 12.26.14}

Things have been so crazy around here.
The month of December has been nuts.
I ended last week thinking everyone was well.
I was so hopeful.
But I was wrong.
Here is what we were up to the week of Christmas

Saturday, December 20, 2014 -
We stayed home on Saturday, resting, recouping.
Lots of reading and playing.
No one was running a fever still.

354/365...
She spends so much time on this.
I am trying to find one of those apps that allows me to shut off her phone and all the other electronics around here if they are on them too long.
Suggestions?

Sunday, December 21, 2014 --
We went carroling with the church.
He fell asleep on the way to the first stop.
Happens every year.

355/365....
the church, all alight with luminaries....

Monday, December 22, 2014 --
My Christmas cards finally arrived.
I was so disappointed in the quality of the pictures....

356/365....
my boys....

Tuesday, December 23, 2014 --
We gathered all the materials and made goodies to take home to Georgia with us.

357/365.....
some of the ingredients....

Wednesday, December 24, 2014 --
And then, Allie woke up with a fever. And a sore throat.
We called the dr.
They figured it was the flu (since we had had it in our house last week)
and said to double her Tamiflu for the next two days. So we did.
These three got to attend the Christmas Eve Services.
Allie and I stayed home.

358/365.....
Lillie and Maggie made this for me for my birthday.
Sweet girls.

Thursday, December 25, 2014 --
We were supposed to do Christmas with Ken's mom and then  head to Georgia after lunch but, Allie was still running a fever.  So, we had a quiet day at home instead.

359/365....
Sometimes a peaceful Christmas day is wonderful.

Friday, December 26, 2014 --
When Allie woke again with a fever, we went to the doctor.
She was diagnosed with strep and got a shot of antibiotics.
Even if she did have the flu, she had already been treated so they didn't even test her.

Since she got a shot, we went ahead and packed up and headed to Georgia!
We were stick of being cooped up!

360/365....
We arrived at about 8PM and got to visit with some family for just a bit and begin the Christmas celebrations.

We were all so thankful to finally be with family and OUT of the house.
