This day was our churches annual BBQ. It is seriously the best bbq and homemade fixin's ever!

Monday. October 27, 2014 --
The start of a crazy busy week. Our Fall Festival was on Friday.
It was T-minus 5 days and counting and I had a LOT to do.
I got a run in and then worked until time to pick up kids from school
After school we did homework and evening activities and then ran some errands.
When I got home, I put some beans on to soak for Tuesdays supper.

On one of our errands, she finally got to pick out her Halloween costume.

Brady had his first ever field trip.
It was to a local pumpkin patch.
It was such fun! More on that later this week!

Maggie has been learning about Ancient Egypt at school.
This day she was to dress up as Cleopatra for their presentations.
Her costume was already at school, but I got a shot of her hair and eye makeup.

Our Fall Festival was a huge hit.
The nasty weather held off until 20 minutes before the event was to end, so not too terrible timing at all.

It was the 50th day of school
To celebrate, the Kindergartners learned about the 1950's and had a Sock Hop.

November is Diabetes Awareness Month.
We all work blue in honor of Allie to bring awareness for Diabetic Research.
We will do it again every Friday in November.
