Moments {10.18.14}

Another week of moments to share!
Here we go.....

Saturday, October 11, 2014 --
Two soccer games, a HUGE storm in the afternoon, then a youth rally in the evening.
Great day.

282/365.....Some of our youth at the youth rally.

Sunday, October 12 , 2014 --
This day was so busy that somehow I didn't even take a picture with my real camera.
ARGH.
So you get another shot of our youth rally as my picture of the day.

    283/365......substitution.

Our youth have just started our "Flamingo Flu" fundraiser. It is great fundraiser.
This is one of our youth who was serving as the 'flamingo man' as we went out by handing out all of the flamingos.
He didn't much want me taking his picture.

Monday, October 13, 2014 --
Allie doesn't let people (other than her dad and I) help her with her diabetic needs often. Especially not letting others give her shots.
Her sisters want to help ( and want to give her shots -- maybe they will go into nursing?!).
It warmed my heart to walk in and see this Monday morning.
284/365....  Sister love.

As I waited on Lillie through piano lessons and soccer practice I had a variety of reading selections.
Well, two actually.
My bible study and my book club book.
Both classics.

Tuesday, October 14, 2014 -
I finally made time to redo my chalkboard on the front porch.
Love this F.Scott Fitzgerald quote.
285/365.....chalkboard love....

Fall is my favorite.
I love watching the leaves change colors!

Wednesday, October 15. 2014 -
Another busy day of working and life.
On Wednesdays we have our children's choir practice.
I have these two amazing girls as youth leaders in that group.
Love them!

Maggie came wandering upstairs looking for a specific shirt to wear to school.
Hubby told her that if she wanted to get it out of the clean clothes basket, she had to fold the whole load.
That is one way to get things done!
286/365..... responsibility....

Thursday, October 16, 2014 --
This was my throwback Thursday picture.
A throwback to Sunday.
And laying all those stones of unforgiveness down.....

287/365.....He is growing up too fast.

Friday, October 17, 2014 --
After a really crazy day at work -- trying to get things done -- I was headed for a night out with a friend.
Allie went to our youth center and these three went to eat supper with Dad.
They then went and got to pick out a new movie each.
288/365...... not sure they were quite ready for a photo.

While they were doing that, I had the privilege to go to supper and catch up with my friend, Courtney.
We then went to see her mom be Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables.
Her mom was fantastic in the role!
And I was so happy to get to see one of my favorite stories ever with my friend!

That's what we've been up to this week.
