Today......

*Today I'm thinking about the Free Photo Book I ordered last week. It should be here any day and I am so excited to get it and see how it looks.

*Today I'm thinking about these two quotes that I read over at Life in A Shoe.

"Let me get this straight—we’ve got a health care plan passed by a Congress that hasn’t read it but exempts themselves from it, signed by a president that hasn’t read it and smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes... and financed by a country that’s broke. What could possibly go wrong?"

And this second one is something that Al Sharpton said and while I'm not a fan, it does make one stop and think.....

"I think that [the passing of the healthcare bill] began to transform the country the way the president had promised. This is what he ran on....the American public overwhelmingly voted for socialism when they elected President Obama..."




*Today I'm wondering why these people in the public eye (i.e. Joe Biden) aren't smarter about what they say standing near a microphone. OR even why they even need to use words like that at all. Crass. Very Crass!!!!

*Today I'm super excited about two giveaways that I entered and really hope to win. I heart anything with a monogram/name on it!!!!! The first one is at a little etsy love and the second on is at BooMama's place.

* Today I'm really excited that I need less than 100 more Swagbucks in order to get a Starbucks giftcard. Oh, there are other things I could get and maybe I will sometime. But right now, I'm working for some free Caramel Macchiato's! If you don't do Swagbucks, you should! It is easy peasy!!!!

*Today, I'm worried about laying at Jesus' feet some concerns over two meetings coming up at our church. Would you please join me in praying that God's will be done in both of these meetings. And that both situations would end up glorifying God? Don't worry -- HE knows what the situations are!

*Today, I'm excited for my girls to get to go see two sets of grandparents for Spring Break.....but I'm a little sad, too. I'm very aware of how happy I think I'm going to be to have a bit of a break but also how much I'm going to miss them next week.

*Today, I'm not exited about all the laundry I need to get done to send my girls to the grandparents for a week. I mean - am I the only one hates trying to pack for a trip this time of year. The Weather. You just never know what the temperature is going to be. Just this week at my house, on Monday it snowed and today the high is to be around 70 degrees. I feel like I have to pack for summer and winter. That makes it rather difficult.

*Today, I'm VERY excited about the fact that I get to go visit some friends who I rarely get to see this weekend and surprise one of them! SO EXCITED!!!!!

* Today, I'm wishing that the powers that be would give me some tickets to go see The Little House on the Prairie Musical like my friend, Carolina Mama received. I would so be willing to write a blog post about it. Hubs and I looked up the cost and unfortunately it's not in the budget. It's a little heart breaking for me because we have such a love for all things Little House! Miss A even dressed like her for a presentation last week!


*Today, I'm also a little concerned that my kids Easter outfits haven't arrived in the mail yet. Yes - I know that it is still a week and a half away but still. I like to be prepared and this is cutting it close for me.

*Today, I have a whole load of Easter bows to make and am beginning to get antsy over the ribbon order I placed. It better get it quick! Don't worry, though, One Hip Mom.....It's gonna get here!

*Today, I'm thinking a LOT about being genuinely authentic as a Christian......post coming soon!

*Today, as if all this wasn't enough, there are a million other things that I'm thinking about and working on. And now, I'm wondering why I thought a post with so many links was a good idea this morning with so much to do. I mean I'm very technically challanged and this has taken me a long time to do. Maybe not the best idea I've ever had..... So, I had better go get on those hairbows. That is the first thing on my agenda today. That is in the 25 minutes I have left before I'm to meet friends for lunch. Guess I will be making bows all afternoon and then all evening after church.
