Christmas 2009 - Part Deux

I just took down all of our Christmas ornaments and I'm sitting here looking at an empty, sad looking tree! So, showing you this next set of pictures makes me happy. I'm always a little sad when Christmas is over......
Anyhoo! The other set of in-laws came to our house the day after Christmas. So, we had another round of present opening -- which the kids just loved.

This is hubs grandmother.
I love that my kids get to spend time with her!

Granddaddy and Nana L brought Mr. B a train.
He loves it!
Mrs. M, Nana L's mom, also sent him a
remote control train! SO sweet!

Mrs. M got the girls the cutest little cabbage patch dolls
with animal pj's on. They love them, too
Nana and Granddaddy got the girls scooters
They were a total surprise!

It took a little while for everyone to get them put together.

Then we went outside to try them out.
It was incredibly cold out there.
But great fun!

Here is Nana L and B watching the girls
ride their new scooters.

I am just including this one
because I love the way it turned out
I'm loving my new camera!
I mentioned above that Mrs. M bought B
a remote control train. I know you are all
probably thinking he is too young for that
but it only has two buttons and he
LOVES it. He has played with it
more than any other thing he got for Christmas so far!

It was a great day. OH - and I got another wonderful gift myself -- I got a new coffee maker. One that grinds coffee beans and makes the "perfect" cup of coffee! IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!
This set of inlaws stayed for two days and went to church with us on Sunday.
Then my sister came after church and we did a few more gifts for the kids.
I will share a few of those pictures with you tomorrow in part 3 of Christmas.....It doesn't look like I am going to get away with fewer posts than last year.
Hope you all have a fabulous day today.

  1. Are your kids the only grandkids? Kelley has a coffee pot like the one you got. It's great!
Oh and Tad changes out his lenses for different picture shots and he's VERY particular about lighting. The wrong kind of light can ruin a good shot. He said you got a good camera though. I still don't know how to work his unless it's on Auto.
I'm going to send you an e-mail. I have questions about dance classes.
