I don't know how many of you out there will read this today, but if you do I'm asking for some prayer.
Our church is looking to hire a new DCE (Director of Christian Education) and the final interviews are today.
Please pray that God's Will will be done and that everyone involved in the decision will be searching for HIS will and not their own.
It is a huge decision and I'm just praying that no one on that committee is taking it lightly and that each of them understands how important staff is to a church. Also how staff can make or break a place. I'm not sure they realize that.....no I'm not sure at all. But I could be wrong....I've been guilty of assuming things that aren't there before.....
So, if you run across this today, please say a prayer.
Definately!! I was director of elem. ed at my church for a time! It is a hard , but very fun and can be very life changing!! Good luck!
