One of the banks in town is having a drawing contest for spring. A brought her paper home from school with her and was VERY excited about it.
She drew her picture and brought it to me. It brought tears to my eyes to hear her describing her picture. She really put a lot of thought into what she would draw. It is a picture of Jesus on the cross. She showed me the red drops of blood from his hands and his feet. See those lines around the cross that sort of look like stripes? (You can see it better in the close up below). That, she said, shows Jesus glowing because he is God.

To say that I'm proud of her is an understatement. With A, I often wonder if anything I say to her ever gets through. And if she even cares at all about God a lot of the time. Usually when I ask a question about God she answers rotely and I'm left worried that she will never have the passion for the Lord that I'd like to see.....This picture gives me hope. Another thing you need to know is that A doesn't really like to draw or color. She is in too big a hurry usually and when asked to color does the minimum. This picture shows that she took care to do a good job. I kinda feel this is her way to share Jesus with others.

On another note, here is a shot of my two favorite guys. What do you think? Does he look like his Daddy?
