This story was on the news last night and they said it was false and that the family had made the boy pose for the picture. If I remember correctly it was the brother to the girl who had the baby. They stated that many families had done this to get money... which this family already received. A pediatrician was also on and she said that the boy was only about 8 or 9.
Well, that leaves a taste in the mouth, doesn't it?! Frightening to say the least. With an almost 20 year old and a 6 year old and two others in between, it's a daunting task to parent...at any age! The issues grow with our kids. Just when you think you have a handle on back talk, then you have to deal with, well, stuff like this. And then they go to college and, well, can't even go there tonight.
All that being said, it is possible and probable to raise Godly kids if parents are willing to be vigilant and on their knees in the matter. Kids don't have to go through a terrible rebellion and can be a faith force to be reckoned with.
