Well, another week has come and gone and I must say that I just feel like this year is flying by. So, without further ado....here's what we've been up to this week.
6.5.11 - Sunday.... This past Sunday, my Sunday School Class hosted a Spaghetti Dinner as a fundraiser for a couple of folks at church who are going on a mission trip to Africa this summer.
They are going to Burkina Fasa, Africa.
But every time I hear that name all I can think is "Mufasa!" as spoken by Scar in The Lion King.
Anyways - this is at the dinner. These two sweeties were helping take donations and sell bracelets. 
6.6.11 - Monday.... Monday was the beginning of a very busy week for Ken. He has had meetings everyday and every evening.
Monday night after his meeting, I got to spend some time with a few friends.
One of them was my sweet friend, Kandi.
She tried her very first ring pop...ever.
I KNOW....totally deprived. ;)
6.7.11 - Tuesday... I'm completely upset with myself. I was so excited that I had remembered to take a picture everyday this week....
Except that when I went back to do this post,
I didn't get a picture on Tuesday.....uggghhh.
Possibly because Maggie woke up sick.
A quick trip to the doctor confirmed my suspicions that she did, indeed, have step throat once again. boo.
6.8.11 - Wednesday....Maggie was feeling much better after a couple of doses of antibiotics. So, she and Brady "helped" me make muffins.
They were helping a lot here
by testing the chocolate morsels.
6.9.11 - Thursday.... On Thursday, Kandi and I went to Asheville to have lunch with a dear friend, Kellie. It was soooo nice to see Kellie. I always leave feeling that love has been poured into me after having lunch with her. It was a wonderful lunch with my sweet friends!
AND - we ate at the Tupelo Honey Cafe, where one can experience all kinds of southern goodness.

6.10.11 - Friday.....Wow, was Friday a busy day. It started with Lillie's Kindergarten Graduation, which will get a post all it's own asap.
Then, I brought Lillie and Brady home for a couple of hours then headed back to the school to pick up the other two girls early.
We got them early because it was Allie's weekend to go home with Nana.
We drove down and met Nana. I failed to get a picture of Nana and Allie before they headed out. I was changing a diaper instead. boo, me.
On the way home, we stopped and met hubby and our friend Rob at one of my favorite places. Fat Buddies. They have great ribs. yum!!
We then went over to Lake Junaluska where Ken's meeting is for a while.
We saw quite a few ministry friends (his meeting is a pastor's meeting)
and I took this shot on the way out.
Isn't it beautiful?!!?
6.11.11 - Saturday....Today, hubs headed back to his meeting and the kids and I were here most of the day. We tried to go over to the pool where hubs' meeting was but when we arrived they had made everyone get out of the pool due to thunder. We sat and waited for an hour with very unhappy kids and it never stopped. SO, we drove back home and let them play in the sprinkler for a while.
6.11.11 - Saturday....Today, hubs headed back to his meeting and the kids and I were here most of the day. We tried to go over to the pool where hubs' meeting was but when we arrived they had made everyone get out of the pool due to thunder. We sat and waited for an hour with very unhappy kids and it never stopped. SO, we drove back home and let them play in the sprinkler for a while.
That made these two much happier....
