Moments {2.7.14}

This post is a couple of days late getting posted.....

But, I love looking back at the moments of our lives each week. 

I'm a big journal 'er', and having pics to put with each day is incredible.

Maybe one day, I'll make a book that has all of my journal entries and a picture for each day.

What a story it would tell.......

Saturday, February 1, 2014--

Pretty lazy day around here for the most part.

Allie is always reading.  

I love that she loves to read as much as I do.

32/365......Sometimes, I still read to them before bed.

Right now we are working our way through The Magician's Nephew by CS Lewis.

Sunday, February 2, 2014--

After church on Sunday, he asked me to spike his hair....=) 

33/365......The weather was so good that we spent some time outside.... 

Monday, February 3, 2014--

a 'blank' day on my calendar......yet, still a super busy day.....

34/365......Another beautiful day.  Warm enough to grill the chicken for supper.....

My plate stand and new attachment arrived for my Happy Everything plate.  

I adore it.

35/365......He made his own sandwich.

Growing up too fast.

 {Also, ate more than ever got on the bread}

36/365.....I've been lazy about decorating for Valentine's Day this year.

But did get this cute little jar at Target for $1.

He wanted me to play backgammon with him.

A friend from Preschool who came to stay with us....

Friday, February 7, 2014 --

Got my Jr. High Youth sent off to their Winter Retreat......

and then headed off on a girl's weekend away myself....

38/365......But before going I got this shot of my front porch.

I LOVE the initial that I got for Christmas.....thinking I might need to cut some of the burlap.....

I'm reluctant to do so.....
