Water Playdate and An Awesome Concert

Now, on to the rest of last week!!!
On Wednesday, I had a meeting in the morning time and then we spent the afternoon cleaning house because on Thursday......we had a water playdate!!!!
We had 12 kiddo's and 5 Mama's at our house to enjoy
our big beach ball that squirts water.
The kids really did seem to have a great time.
Miss O wasn't real sure what to think about the water spray....
and she was a little tired.....
but she is OH so cute!!!

B is teaching O bad things.
Climbing Stairs......

This is our friend I. He lives in New Hampshire these days
but they were in town for a visit. It was so nice getting to see him and his sister
and his Mom..

After we got done in the water, the kids had great fun playing with
the "wheeled" things. Razors, bicycles, scooters and wagons...

A, E, C, and M

B wanted to wear a hat....;)

This pictures contains 8 of the twelve kids right before
time to go home.....4 had already left.

We had a grand time playing outside and sharing lunch with everyone. We will definitely do it again!!!!
THEN! I had a great night on Thursday. I went with a some great girls to see Chris Tomlin and Toby Mac in Knoxville. I only have pictures from after then concert because the security folks wouldn't let me take my camera in....boo!
We left the concert at about 11PM and began our two hour drive home. I arrived home at 2 AM. We made a few stops --adding an extra hour to our trip.... yes, we were giddy by this time.

The whole lot of us....

These are three of our youth who went with us.....
We stopped in Gatlinburg for a sweet treat on the way home....
K got deep fried oreo's

Most everyone else got ice cream.....It still amazes me that
Gatlinburg was a hopping place to be at midnight....

R and her ice cream....

We took a picture in front of the FUMC sign......
We all attend FUMC....just not this one.

Then we stopped at the sign when we entered the GSM.....
The kids shot......
The grownups shot......

Chris Tomlin led a great worship set and Toby Mac rocked the house. It was awesome.
He managed to work "Roller Coaster of Love" into a song for God.....that is pretty amazing if you ask me!!!
I told ya'll I had a very fun, memory-making week last week! And the fun doesn't stop there. Still got more to share with you all tomorrow!!!
Have a great Tuesday. We are off to make more memories!
