Don't know anything about this, but to answer your other questions. The pancakes ARE really easy. I just used self-rising flour. Mine rose higher than the picture, but still had same taste. Also Kelley said the pictures with the recipe make it seem like a lot of steps, but there are really just heating the pan, melting butter, adding rest of ingredients and cook. simple, simple. Oh and yes I used an iron skillet. let me know if you try it out!
