Righteous Anger or Pharisee?

Well - like I said earlier I have a million and one things to do today and this week but I wanted to share with ya'll some things I'm pondering on and get your feedback.
One thing I know for sure is that God speaks though other people and I need feedback on these things.

Here is a list of thinks I'm pondering on and mulling over as I go through my day today.....

* Why do people come to church to be seen? And why bother if you aren't there to grow spiritually?
*The number of people who read their bulletins during the sermon. The number of people who don't look at their bulletins period.
*Children's church should be more than Sunday School revisited/babysitting service for older kids.
* And various and sundry other questions about church stuff.....

And all of these things lead me to:

*Am I being a pharisee or are these really things I should be pondering on? both?

What do ya'll think?

  3. I think we have all asked ourselves these questions at one time or another. When these negative thoughts come (those things I can do nothing about), I have to practice giving thanks in all things: Thankful that at least people are attending church and the Word will not return void; thankful that there is a children's church in place for the little ones; thankful that we have the ability to have a bulletin, etc, etc. I've had all these thoughts, too.

Being a pastor's wife can be frustrating, I know. There are times I wonder why we even bother ... then I realize I need to change my thinking. There are some things that can be changed and some that cannot/should not be changed. I simply asked God to help me know the difference and the have the grace to accept.

    Have a blessed day!
