Ok. It is officially driving me crazy.
My hair that is. Remember way back last October, I cut my hair short. And I loved it, I really did. I also told everyone who would listen that when I was ready I could just let it grow out, right?
WRONG!!! I've been trying to grow my hair out now for a while.....Since at least March. It is driving me nuts. I've decided that while I still have hair that can be grown long, I'd like to go back to that
Aside from the fact that I still have to find a new hairdresser (I've been given the name of someone --Thanks Sue!), I now officially feel I have a hair don't.
The problem is -- I want it to grow out and don't really know how to do that. All of that stacking in the back has come back to haunt me. It seems to me that my hair has grown out into some sort of mullet look and to be honest that looks good on no one! Not even Billy Ra*y C*yrus......
So, today I am wondering....anybody got any advice for the 'growing it out' stage?
I could really use some!
No advice, just ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteI don't have any advice either...I always suffer through the growing out stage, only to cut it once it's long.
ReplyDeleteMy advice for growing it out .... don't look in the mirror!! Growing your hair out is the worst. I spent 2 years growing mine out and got stressed out this summer and cut it short again UGH! Now, I'm regretting it!
ReplyDeleteI keep my hair short (my age, you know), but when I have grown it out, my hair stylist was very helpful. She would cut it a little in different spots to shape it up so that it would be manageable yet not enough hinder the growth.
ReplyDeleteGood luck. Hope you like the new hair stylist.
