3rd Birthday and Menu Plan

Over the weekend we had a "family + 1" birthday party for our 3 year old. Her birthday was actually a couple of weeks ago (Jan. 12) but to her, this past Saturday was the 12th since it was the day of her party.

She had so much fun with her balloons and her "Cinderella and my prince" cake. It is amazing watching my girls grow up! We had lots of family here and a friend to play with so fun was had by all.

She was dressed for the party in real clothing (that she actually picked out) but as soon as everyone got here, she decided to change into her sleeping beauty costume......nothing is more appropriate for a princess party, right?

And now, since I am trying to regain some semblance of order to our lives since returning from vacation and trying to manage my days with feeling nauseous, I am posting my Menu Plan for the week. SO, here goes!

Monday: Hamburger Casserole

Tuesday: Chicken fingers, green beans and potatoes

Wednesday: FEAST at church

Thursday: Chili

Friday: we are headed to Boone to a Youth Event for the weekend.

Ya'll have a good day. I gotta go eat!
Go on over and see Laura for more Menu Plan Monday.

  1. She looks adorable!!

Thank you for the DW advice! I hope Ella is going to be as into the Princesses as your little girl was.

  2. I think she is absolutely right! There is nothing more appropriate to wear to a princess party than a princess costume!

Don't you wish adults would just "go with it" more often? Life would be so much more pleasant!

  3. Oh she's such a doll...my girl doesn't think you can have a birthday party without being in costume. :)

hope you are starting to feel better! ;)
