The hardest part of ALL of my holiday season is trying to take pictures of my girls for the Christmas cards. THEY are impossible.
I always end up frustrated and they are frustrated and mad and maybe even crying.
A lot of the pictures turn out like these next few with NO ONE looking!!!!
And then some turned out like this one. My middle daughter said she couldn't smile. She didn't know how.
WE did finally manage to get a few that will be usable if not the most picturesque in the world.

Hope you are all having a great Monday and I hope to go over to BooMama's place and join the tour of homes later today maybe. I hope -- if I can get everything else that I need to get done -- done in this day.
Those pictures are beautiful. I haven't even attempted it this year yet. I believe the last 2 are keepers for you - both are precious.
ReplyDeleteYour daughters are precious!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the pictures. I have not visited in awhile - busy like the rest of the world. I hope that you are blessed the Christmas season.

Have to say that my favorite is the one where they're all looking different places. I love that!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful girls!!!
Hey Mindy. Thanks for poppin' over. Are you in the Charlotte area? Who knows, we may be neighbors? haha
ReplyDeleteTake care and come back by.

Your girls are beautiful! I think the ones that don't make the Christmas card are the best for keepsakes! I'm glad to know I am not the only frustrated picture taker!!!! We always laugh at picture time...saying okay everybody, we are making memories. (knowing it is not the funnest thing to do!)
ReplyDeleteYour girls are so sweet! I love their dresses! Evie has a red one with smocked Christmas trees on it. I love those kind of dresses!
Mindy,
ReplyDeleteSometimes the most "impromptu" pictures make the best cards! They don't have to be perfect...it's so cute to see kids in natural poses that make someone smile and remember when their own kids were "restless" like that!!!
They are all so gorgeous! I hope you are enjoying the holiday season!
Merry Christmas!
Tracey
Hey Mindy,
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to picture taking chaos. Yours look great.
A note on the gingerbread house making: We bought kits. Mine had the house already assembled and we added the candy. My friend's house was not assembled. She assembled it with icing. It's great fun.
