Thankful Thursday already

WOW. Hard to believe another week has come and gone. So, here I am at Thursday again and it is time for a thankful post. And if ever there was a day when I needed a reminder to count my blessings this is it. SO, here goes.

**I'm thankful for the rain outside. Yes, it is a little dreary but we need the rain so I am thankful for it.

**I'm thankful for the gift of this past weekend. It really was a gift in the truest sense of the word.

**I'm thankful for the 3 little girls God has entrusted to my care to raise. They are also gifts in my life and they remind me to focus my sights on the LORD above.

**I'm thankful for the innocence of them. My two year old has been reminding me lately about who creates each day for me. She told me one morning when she woke that "God hadn't turned on the daylight yet so it wasn't time to get up." What a blessed reminder that HE creates each day.

**I'm thankful to have this day to live for HIM.

**I'm thankful HE will see me through all of the trails in my life.

**I'm thankful for His grace. I don't deserve HIM AND HE loves me anyways.

**I'm thankful for friends who love me and don't mind sharing that with me.

**I'm thankful for the group of 4th and 5th graders that HE has entrusted to my guidance on Wednesday nights. I pray that I might make HIM famous with them!

Blessings everybody. I will be reading your thankful lists. I need reminders this day!

Go on over to Sting My Heart for more thankful Thursdays!

  1. I can't tell you how glad I am that you had such a wonderful weekend. Did you mention rain? :) That's something that is pretty scarce around here where I live. I'm thankful for it too when we get it!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

  2. Great, peaceful list, Mindy. Thanks for sharing.

Say a pray for us ... I had E at the doctor today for all kinds of tests. She has a 104 degree fever. She's never had one that high and they've ruled out strep, flu, mono, UTI ... we just have to wait it out :( A high fever like that scares me a little.
