Well, here in this house, we have been working on switching out the closets today. Just in time for the weather to go back to be cooler. {sigh}. Good thing I kept out a few long sleeved shirts and some jeans.
Since I've been working on the closets - -even had to make a run to Walmart for hangers -- and tonight is Family Movie Night, I thought I would just participate in Five Question Friday today.
Plus, I love getting to know folks.
Don't you?!?
SO, without further ado - here goes.....
2. Favorite Bible verse and why?
3. What was the first concert you ever attended, and the most recent one?
4. The year is 2025. What are you doing, and what have you done?
5. What's your favorite Easter treat?
And my answers:
1. Well, I love being the hostess! And I love cooking.Plus, it is a guaranteed way for me to get my house clean. SO, I'm going to say that I love having people to my house to eat. I just don't do it as much as I would like to. Seems like there is always something going on. It is something I want to do more of!!!
2. I don't know if I can pick just one favorite Bible verse. There are so many that I love. One of my favorites is the name of my blog. Philippians 4:8
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
Because it is really speaking to my life right now, one of my favorites right now is Exodus:13-14
But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. 14 The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”
3. The first concert I ever attended. Well, I can't decide which one of these came first. It was either
The Statler Brothers
or...
The Forester Sisters.
This is NKOTBSB
I saw New Kids in 1990 in Chattanooga, TN
and last summer I saw New Kids and The Back Street Boys in Atlanta, GA
IT WAS AWESOME!!!
4. In the year 2025, I will be 51 years old and I will be broke. You see, Allie will be 23 and will hopefully be graduating from college. Add to that the fact that Maggie will be 21 and Lillie 20 and both in college. Brady will be 16. Well, Ken and I will be broke. NOT to mention that we will both be working to be able to afford to have 3 girls in college and a 16 year old son. I HOPE I will have a good job doing whatever it is that God is going to lead me to do.....{I'm just not sure what that is yet....}
5. My favorite Easter Treat....is Robin's Eggs. Malted Milk Balls shaped like eggs. YUM!
I also really do like hard boiled eggs. We might dye eggs just so I can eat them.
Maybe tomorrow!!!!
That's it!
It's Friday Night Movie Night at our house.
We've just finished watching The Muppets {cute movie}
and now it is time for Moneyball or The Help.....
I bet you can tell which I'm hoping for!!!
Hope you are having a fantastic {Good} Friday night!!!!
in HIM-
