Elf Villiage

Yesterday morning, even though it was cold and rainy, the family and I set out to visit an Elf Village.

The Elf Village was at a Christmas Tree Farm, but since we weren't interested in getting a tree, we just visited with our friend, Olivia for a few minutes before she left.

Then we headed on up to visit the Elves.

First up - photo op!

The cost was $10 (per family!) and then everyone got dressed as an elf. Well - except for Ken and I and Maggie. The elf gear is clearly not in fashion as she says. Lillie is ready to go!

We saw the nativity.

"Oh, Come Let Us Adore him"

I was happy with the nativity and B standing staring at lovingly at baby Jesus, until I realized that the wise men were bringing the wrong gifts.....

Instead of , gold,frankincense, and myrrh-- these wisemen came with a rocking horse, a train and a teddy graham......hmmmm....

And on we go

We stopped to look in the post office.

We ran into our friends the Hodges. Such fun!

And Ms. Jennifer took our family picture. I think Jennifer did a fantastic job!

The girls wrote letters to Santa, that we later returned to the post office.

We made ornaments to hang on the tree.

We got our faces painted!

We attended story time.

Waiting on everyone else to come outside to join us.

It really was loads of fun. EVEN in the rain!
