....because I'm not sure it has an answer. However, if you know the answer- by all means, fill me in!
Here it is: WHY do my children always start vomiting at 2 AM, in their beds? That is the absolute worst sound to wake up to! Why Can't viruses come on at say--7AM when we are all awake and said child could maybe even make it to the bathroom before throwing up?
Why?
Such is life.
ReplyDeleteWhat's even better is when you have their sheets in the wash. They're sleeping in YOUR bed and THEN vomit again!
((hugs))
Good question.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it has something to do with them lying still for a long period of time. Gives the juices time to gather and exit? I think that a doctor once told me that fevers always run higher at night too. Can't remember why though.
I'm sure that didn't help at all. You're welcome. :)
Because then it wouldn't be nearly as much fun!! .....and as a bonus, it wouldn't sound nearly as good when she's 16, and you are giving the speech about "being up at 2AM". 7 AM just wouldn't get the needed sympathy!
ReplyDeleteOh you are not alone my friend! I always said that you know you are a mother when you are outside in the backyard at 3 a.m. hosing off bedspreds and blankets! HA (The challenge for me now is that we live in Colorado and the hoses and water system has to be winterized due to freezing temps. Now, where to hose off the throw up on the bedspread!?!) Hang in there and hope everyone is feeling well once again!
