Lewis Wedding Weekend - Part 1

I said yesterday that our sweet friends Jenny and Tripp got married in June.
We were so blessed to get to be a part of their special day.

I helped host a bridal luncheon on Friday afternoon.
It was held in our friends back yard and it was gorgeous!!!

The menu was divine.

and the setting, gorgeous.

We gathered beautiful blue hydrangeas to decorate the tables.

and I made this sweet little sign to put on Jenny's chair.

The entree choices were chicken wraps with blue cheese slaw, with homemade tortilla chips and apple salsa.

Or ham and Gruyere cheese quiche with spinach walnut salad.

And if that was not enough, dessert was even more decadent.
Hazelnut mousse

 Or homemade raspberry sorbet

We had a great time taking pics and writing notes for Jenny.....

The bride and her Mom.

Our youngest guest, Sweet newborn Penny.....

I think Jenny enjoyed her luncheon.
I had a great time helping Julie of Pinnacle Events host this event.
If you live in Western NC and need an event planner, you should give her a call.
She does amazing things!!
One happy bride....

That night we went to the rehearsal dinner and the rehearsal.
These two were ecstatic to receive such sweet gifts from Tripp and  Jenny.
They both love spiderman!!!

Practicing their responsibilities as the Flower Girl and Ring Bearer....

Hubs.....doing his thing.
Practicing .....

And afterward, Jenny's sweet sister and brother entertained our kids.

I think they all had a blast!!!

It was a great day!

By this time, we were all ready to get in bed for a good nights sleep before the wedding the next day.
And since I've shared so many pictures today, I will wait and share the wedding pics tomorrow.
