It's that time of the week again. Time for me to make my Menu Plan and my grocery list for the week. This morning after dropping the girls off at school, I will make my way to an appointment and then I will go grocery shopping for the week. I heart the Ingle's in the town I'm going shopping in today. It is an awesome store. It's awesome for lots of reasons. I has organic food and lots of choices within that category, it's got an olive bar -- I love the blue cheese stuffed olives! - and a soup of the day which on Monday's is veggie and I usually get that on Mondays for lunch!, and it's a huge store with many products to choose from that the Ingle's in my little town doesn't have. But the BEST thing about the Ingle's in this next town over is that it has a Starbucks in it. Caramel Macchiato here I come!!!!
Anyway, without further ado -- my menu plan for this week!
breakfasts - cereal, eggs and toast, poptarts, bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon or jelly or plain cream cheese, fruit, yogurt
lunches- sandwiches with fruit and chips, hummus with pita chips or veggies for dipping, organic mac and cheese, leftovers
Monday -- eating out. =)
Tuesday - BBQ sandwiches, baked beans, deviled eggs, potato salad
Wednesday - Gathering Meal at church
Thursday -- date night --- something simple (do they make organic chicken nuggets?) for kids
Friday - Grilled Salmon, grilled zucchini/squash, green beans, fruit salad
Saturday - Spaghetti
Sunday - out for lunch/ sandwiches for supper
